Luna Lobos provides an incredible dog sledding experience with their well trained social Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes who lead you through beautiful trails, pastures, and breath-taking mountain views. PC Powdercats is a snowcat skiing operation that runs out of The Thousand Peaks Ranch, located in the Uinta Mountain range on 40,000 acres. This snowcat skiing operation provides great access to the backcountry and has you floating through Utah’s famous snow. Believe it or not, horseback riding is an unbelievable experience throughout all seasons of the year. Blue Sky Ranch provides two different horse back adventures that run throughout the winter. Their experienced and seasoned guides will lead you with their trusty and social horses through incredible scenic trails and to mountain top views. It is essential to layer up, with warm jackets, boots and gloves to be comfortable and fully enjoy your experience. Comet Bobsled Ride
If you’re seeking a thrilling ride, try the Olympic Park’s defining activity, the Winter Comet Bobsled. It is a ride of a lifetime, hitting speeds over 60mph and unforgettable g-forces. One of the parks professional drivers takes three passengers in their sled down the 2002 Olympic track.
Extreme Winter Tubing
This is a brand new activity to the Olympic Park. Ride an innertube down the Nordic ski jump!
Start at the edge of the K120 Nordic Ski Jump and ride down with speeds up to 50 mph. The Extreme Zipline is one of the steepest ziplines in the world!
Snowshoe and then do yoga in a yurt, paddle board yoga in a hot spring in a crater, hike and practice yoga outside, or swing from the Aspen trees in a yoga hammock. Gorgoza Tubing Park is great for families and children of all ages that are looking for some fun in the snow. Their tubing experience is a blast with their 7 lighted tubing lanes, 3 beginner lanes and for advanced. They also are set up with a little hill for the little ones as well as pee-wee snowmobiles, for ages 5-12. Visiting Gorgoza will be a winter afternoon well spent gliding through their park near Park City.
The Midway Crater is a ‘natural wonder’ that is located at the Homestead Resort in Midway. The Crater is a geothermal spring that stays heated throughout the year by the minerals that fill it, ranging between 90-96 degrees Fahrenheit. The spring is protected by a naturally formed 55-foot tall limestone rock creating shelter from the outdoors. You can swim, snorkel and scuba dive, or just check out this natural wonder. Reservations are required for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving.
Located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort is a family friendly outdoor ice skating rink that is open to the public and great for all ages. The resort center can provide equipment for all including skate trainers for the little ones.
