Savor the Summit

It is that time again, the wonderfully delightful Savor the Summit is returning for its 12th annual event. This Saturday, June 22nd will be Utah’s largest annual outdoor dining event on Historic Main Street in beautiful Park City, Utah.

There are roughly 20 local restaurants participating in this year’s event to show off and celebrate their culinary expertise in addition to serving up local drinks and live music. There are an expected 2,500 participants attending Savor the Summit making the event a favorite tradition among Park City residents as well as those who return to the city each summer to join in the fun.

There are no tickets needed for the event; however, you will need to make a reservation directly with the participating restaurant of your choice. Each restaurant offers its own choice of menu, pricing, and bar service.

The event is an outdoor party that occupies the middle of Main Street letting participants enjoy outdoor dinner, drinks, and live music poised to capture the one-of-a-kind Utah sunset in the background. Make a weekend out of the event and rent an entire home with Cooper’s Luxury Home Collection with properties located right on Main St. A Park City home at your disposal will give you extra time to explore the scenic Wasatch Mountains full of breathtaking views found on the hiking and biking trails. Or cool off by taking a relaxing and refreshing fishing trip on the Heber River. Whatever your weekend plans, Park City provides the ultimate foodie getaway retreat.

My favorite part of the event aside from the atmosphere is the amazing food! Since the event is outdoors on Historic Main Street, it is fun to look around the different tables and watch these amazing creations being brought out from the kitchens. It is a treat seeing the variety of carefully crafted cuisine being presented from the local talented chefs.
