Spring has Sprung?

05/23/2019 | by TheLocal | Local Area

Now that winter has come to an end and we inch our way toward the warm summer months, we are excited to revive our blog and share with you our favorite restaurants, things to do, and events happening in Park City. You will be hearing from a different team member each week. They will be sharing a locals perspective of the things they love about Park City, the ins and outs of working for a small business in the vacation rental and property management industry, as well as their favorite places around this beautiful area.

When you think about the great parts of visiting or living in the Wasatch area, you seldom romanticize its mud season; however, even mud season in Park City has its perks. With winter trying to hang on by a thread, you can still enjoy skiing at Snowbird in the morning and then head to one of the local golf courses in the afternoon. Snowbird’s top half of the mountain is still running, and they have a TBD as their closing date. They plan to keep the skiing dream alive ‘as long as conditions permit’. Meanwhile, the golf courses are just opening and are looking green and lush as ever from all of the snowmelt and natural runoff.

As permanent residents, it’s one of the best times of year. As cliche as it sounds, I love walking off the slopes into a rich, vibrant green valley. Park City really offers up an outdoorsman’s haven, no matter the season.

Check-in with us each week to meet our team members and get an insider’s guide on what it’s like to live and play in the Wasatch Mountains.
